Humberto Delgado Airport, generally known as Lisbon Airport or Portela Airport, is an international airport 7 km (4.3 mi) northeast of the city center of Lisbon, the capital of Portugal. The airport is the largest gateway to Portugal. It is the 20th largest airport in Europe in terms of passenger capacity, having handled 31,173,000 travelers in 2019, a rise of 7.4% from the previous year. As of 2017, the airport managed 115,7 thousand tons of freight. It is a significant European gateway for Brazil, the main European Star Alliance center in South America, and also a European gateway for Africa.
The airport is the largest gateway of Portugal’s flag carrier TAP Air Portugal, and its affiliate TAP Express, as well as being a base for low-cost carriers Ryanair and EasyJet. It is a focal area for Azores Airlines, EuroAtlantic Airways, Hi Fly, Orbest, and White Airways. The airport is owned by ANA Aeroportos de Portugal, which was given to the Leonardo da Vinci Airports Company in February 2013. In January 2019, the Portuguese Government announced a €1.1 billion ($1.26 billion) proposal to extend the new airport in Lisbon and construct a second one in Montijo. It plans to accommodate about 50 million travelers a year from 2022 onwards.

It is the “Premium” enclosed short term car park, which is just a two-minute walk from the check-in zone at Terminal 1 and is also the most costly. At P1, you also have the option, at an additional expense, of utilizing the ValetXpress service that your car is reserved for you. At P1, each 15-minute cycle costs €0.90 up to a limit of €43.15 on the first day. After 24 hours, each hour would cost €2.75 up to a limit of €43.15 a day.
There is an enclosed short-term parking area for “Executive” parking within a 3-minute walk from the terminal. At P2, on the first day, per 15-minute duration costs €0.85 up to a limit of €20.00. After 24 hours, each hour would cost €2.75 up to a limit of €21.00 a day.
It is an open car park with the “Low-Cost Plus” option which you can use for long or short term parking. It’s a five-minute walk from Terminal 1 and a ten-minute bus trip to Terminal 2. There is also a dedicated place for bikes, which you can reach from a different entrance. At P3 – on the first day, every 15 minutes costs €0.75 up to a limit of €17.00. After 24 hours, the expense of each hour is €2.75 up to a limit of €17.00 a day.
No stops are permitted immediately outside of the departures and arrivals halls at Terminal 1, but there are signs of “Kiss & Fly” areas at both terminals where you can rest for ten minutes free of cost. But, stopping for longer incurs high costs.
At Kiss & fly, the first 10 minutes are free of charge. It’s €1.00 for 10 to 15 minutes. Following 15 minutes with an extra 5 minutes, the sum is €2.00.

At P6, you will have to pay off every 15 minutes is €0.80 up to a limit of €14.00. Per hour after 24 hours is €2.75 up to a limit of €14.00 a day.
